Portrait of Iris Elezi

Iris Elezi is an Albanian director, author and producer. In 2014, she co-directed ‘Bota’, aiming to “open up a window to the little known world of Albania” while dealing with its post-communist society.

As co-founder of The Albanian Cinema Project and director of The Albanian National Film Archive, she’s also a key figure in the preservation of Albanian film heritage.
